Characters. Script, and Storyboard

After developing our story outline, we decided our trailer would feature a total of five characters.

Floyd Harolds is a notorious and brutal outlaw, leader of a ruthless gang.

John Collins is a young man on the run from Floyd Harolds and his crew, after witnessing a murder, he must travel to Silver City, and testify.

The Man is a mysterious character with no name, who saves John Collins from death, and protects him. We do not know what his motives are. This character is particularly inspired by Clint Eastwood's roleof "The Man With No Name", in the trilogy of films starring the character: A Fistful of Dollars, A Few Dollars More, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

Ben Weyland is a member of Floyd's gang. He captures John at the beginning, and comes to the point of nearly shooting him.

Jacob Ross is another member of Floyd's gang, also trying to silence John.


We eventually came up with a script for these characters, as well as a rough screenplay, later translated into a storyboard.













Before we could begin the filming we had to first develop a means of mapping out what was to be filmed. To do this we drew up a storyboard. This is just a rough guideline as after each shot has been filmed we will view the material back and decide whether or not it worked, and discuss what to do instead.
